Our ornaments can be used with a ferrule or spindle. A ferrule is used for indoor use on wood poles and a spindle is used for outdoor use on in-ground or wall mounted flagpoles. When using an ornament for an indoor aluminum pole with a top adapter already installed, a ferrule or spindle is not required.
