We got a call from a very nice man, owner of Just Sew Sports out of Oconomowoc, WI looking to accomplish a very interesting project. He was recently given a 44 ft. shaft which was intended to be a flagpole, but was never used. The only problem was that the 2-piece pole had been left to sit outside on the ground and was heavily stained. More importantly, all the parts that made this a flagpole were missing. He needed to clean up the pole and re-outfit it with all new parts.

This article shows how the header, stars and fly ends are made on our Nylon and Polyester Outdoor American Flags.

Nylon Flags
Our most popular, U.S. Government specification flags, Summer Eagle Nylon offers vivid colors, outstanding fade resistance on UV treated 100% heavy-weight, 200-denier nylon fabric.

SolarMax is a registered trademark of INVISTA for UV resistant fibers and fabrics.
Strength. Durability. Visibility. SolarMax® fabrics are tough, durable, long-lasting and specifically designed for active outdoor use. SolarMax fabrics exibit tremendous strength retention under UV exposure as well as world-class tensile and tear strength. Because of its strength SolarMax® fabrics will increase overall performance. SolarMax® fabrics are highly resistant to UV fading, allowing the use of deeper, brighter colors that will last over time. In addition, SolarMax® fabrics offer better washfastness and lightfastness than other nylons of similar fabric construction, so they will retain their good looks long after the competition has called it the day.
Polyester Flags
Crafted of 2-ply 100% spun polyester bunting, Winter Eagle Polyester is designed to withstand freezing varied moisture, and winter winds. This heavy-weight product takes on a woven like appearance.
- Heavy 2-Ply Yarns for Extra Strength and Durability
- Withstands Wind, Sun, Dirt and Moisture
- Outlasts Nylon and Other Acrylic Flags
- Excellent for Industrial/Institutional Use
Lock Stitching
All of our American Flags are lock stitched! Lock stitching doubles the thread to prevent unraveling of the fly-ends and fraying. If you'd prefer an economic alternative to lock stitching, chain stitched American Flags are great for temporary applications such as events or general outdoor use. Available in sizes 3' x 5', 4' x 6' and 5' x 8'.
Reinforced Flags for heavy wind
Our Nylon or Polyester Reinforced American Flags are identical our nylon or polyester flags but are designed for areas with heavy wind. These flags have modified with reinforced corners as well as additional vertical stitching on the fly-ends.
And, of course all of our American Flags are proudly 100% MADE IN USA!

It is given many names:

WEB Colors #BB133E, #FFFFFF, #002664;

American U.S. United States Made Outdoor Flag, but typically we know it as, red-white-and-blue. Strung together in songs lyrics, political speeches, not to mention interchanged with words such as freedom, these are not simply colors. On Memorial Day and the 4th of July we dust off that one loud tie or sweater, a birthday gift from your mother-in-law. And for some of us, these holidays are a chance for us to visit the ones we love who have passed on, and we honor those fallen to protect our red-white-and-blue.
